We would like to remind you that from 25 February 2026, all EU, EEA and Swiss nationals entering or transiting the UK must hold a valid Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). This applies to all passengers travelling with LeShuttle Freight.

Key Information

• The ETA is mandatory and valid for 2 years, or until the passport expires if it expires earlier. A new application will then be necessary.
• Applications should be made at least 24 hours before travel.
• Drivers must have a valid ETA before arriving at our terminal in France, otherwise they may be refused travel.

Who needs an ETA?

Visitors travelling to or transiting through the UK must apply for an ETA if:

• They are from an eligible nationality; and
• They do not currently hold a valid UK visa or immigration status.
